Remove WordPress version number is a plugin to easily hide your WordPress version information from everyone. This plugin has some unique features like:

It will hide meta generator from the source code.
It will hide information from the feeds.
It will remove query parameters from CSS and JS
**The best thing about this plugin is that it will only remove qeury parameters from CSS and JS URLs which only have version information, i-e, ver=4.8 **
