Fluid Customizer is a simple plug-and-play plugin which allows you to resize the width of the preview window in the Customizer to whichever size you like. Simply install the plugin, go to your Customizer, then click and drag the right border of the sidebar and watch the magic happen!

Click Add New from the plugins page in your wordpress site
Search for Fluid Customizer
Click on install

Alternatively from wordpress.org

Download the latest version of Fluid Customizer
Extract the files
Upload the entire fluid-customizer folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
