With this plugin, you can custom the Featured Image metabox by:

Set the title text instead of the default “Featured Image”.
Add instructions for the image, like the image dimensions.
Set a custom set / remove link text, instead of the default “Set / Remove featured image”.
Custom the metabox by post types. Each post type has its own custom settings.

Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
Search for ‘custom-featured-image-metabox’
Click ‘Install Now’
Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard

Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
Select custom-featured-image-metabox.zip from your computer
Click ‘Install Now’
Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Using FTP

Download custom-featured-image-metabox.zip
Extract the custom-featured-image-metabox directory to your computer
Upload the custom-featured-image-metabox directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
